BOOK REVIEW SATURDAY!

Today I'm reviewing A SKELETON AT HER DOOR by E. Ayers.   I must admit that I had never read one of her books before now, but I have been pleasantly surprised.

First of all, it's a fun read with enough steamy scenes to keep you warm on a winter evening without scorching you.  I loved how she starts the book.  BAM! She meets the hero...and he's a skeleton.  Can you imagine opening your front door and coming face to face with a skeleton?   Yikes!  That's just what happens, but how they deal with the situation and then eventually blend each of their families makes for a very interesting and enjoyable plot.

  6. Hi Bella,
Got an hour? Grab A Skeleton at Her Door, a warm throw, a cup of hot cider, and read it. We all need a Tom Meyers in our life.

  7. Hi Kayanna, Thanks for stopping in today. That opening scene is actually based on a real incident in my life. Yes, I opened the door to a guy dressed in a skeleton costume and thought it was a neighbor. It was my youngest daughter who noticed it wasn't him. Never found out who he was other than the boyfriend of another neighbor who landed on my doorstep by accident. OMG! Was he hot!

  8. An interesting relationship pairing. I'm sure your readers will enjoy reading it as much as you enjoyed writing it. Sounds like a really fun and unusual story.

  9. Hi Heather, I tried hard to be a good mother. I'm not sure my girls always think I was the best mom. LOL But I'm proud of the way they've turned out as women. Kids have a way of putting us through fire and testing our fortitude. Funny thing, they never remember what they did to us. LOL
